簡易地建立的你的 AR ！

Layar 是個 Android 的 Augmented Reality (AR) 軟件 — AR 就是增強實境，龍珠的「能量偵察儀」也是一種 AR，它讓用者可以看到目標的戰鬥力，而我這次寫的 AR 就是增加用者的戰鬥力 … 替用者找出附近的老麥！！
Layar 的有趣之處是它開放了 API ，開發者、內容供應商或商戶可以提供自己的 “Layar Service” ，用戶只要使用相應的 Layar ，就可以在 Layar 裡看到完全不同的內容。Layar Service Provider 不需要自己寫一個 AR 軟件，「只需要」寫一個 Location base service 提供資料和搜尋服務就行了。
這是怎樣做到的？這個服務的核心使用了 Ruby Gems GeoKit，它讓我們可以這樣做 (Point 是我們自己定義的 Business Class)：
只要我們新增一個 POI (Point Of Interest) ，GeoKit 就會在背後替我們找出地址的座標 (它有 Google map, Yahoo Map 和其他 Geocoding 服務的 Adapter)
接著搜尋現在位置附近的 POI 也很簡單：
在支援的 Database 下 (sqlite 不行) ，這個 finder 就會替我們找出目的地附近的 POI。
餘下的只是輸入位置的資料、加入對位置的動作 (比如可以點擊某個 POI 就顯示你怎樣可以由現在的位置走去，或者連結去 POI 的網頁，有無限的可能性！)、以 Layar 的 protocol 封裝資料而矣。

P.S. 這個 Layar Service 還在給 Layar 公司驗證中，還未公開，有新消息我會公佈 =) 已經發佈，請在 Layar 軟件中 search Hong Kong 或 McDonalds ！

你有搜尋 Layar 嗎？這是個 Layar 的 service ，要安裝 Layar 後再在裡面 search Hong Kong 就行了

我有朋友 root 了也見到啊，你確定你 search 的是 layar 或 reality browser 嗎？我想地區設定可能有影響，我的地區是香港。如果也不行就問問 Layar 的作者吧： http://layar.eu/

才不是，是 Layar 的作者設計了一個很好的系統，再加上 open source 的軟件幫我做了最難的東西
